Enterprise Applications of Generative AI

So far, you have explored the landscape of generative AI by looking at companies working in the generative AI field and developing technologifor for consumer-facing applications. The tools that you tried out were mostly consumer-facing tools, and hence, their contextual understanding and problem-solving approaches were highly generalised.

In the next video, you will hear about some more domain-specific and enterprise-facing applications of generative AI.

Kshitij talked about the AI-powered tutor by khan Khanmigo. This tool provides feedback to learners without simply giving away the answer and helps them achieve their learning goals. Morgan Stanley is also leveraging GPT-4 in its wealth management vertical to improve its knowledge management and information retrieval processes. Kshitij also talked about Adobe Firefly, their generative AI engine that performs various image-related tasks, such as recolouring, text-to-image tools and photo editing tools.

Make sure that you explore these tools before you move forward.

In the next video, Kshitij will talk about two more enterprise-facing applications of generative AI.

In this video, Kshitij discussed two more domain-specific enterprise applications: BloombergGPT, in the finance domain, and EinsteinGPT, which works as a generative CRM. These two applications round out the survey of enterprise applications of generative AI.

Now that you have explored some generative AI tools and applications, in the next segment, let’s formally define generative AI and start building a knowledge base and a rich vocabulary for understanding generative AI.
