Welcome to this session on ‘Producer and Consumer Demo’. In the next video, Vishwa will outline the concepts being covered in this session.
In this session
- You will learn how to start the Kafka and the Zookeeper servers.
- Once we start with this, you will learn how to create topics. Then, we will start a consumer that will be listening to the messages being pushed to this topic.
- Next, we will start a producer that will push the messages to the topic that we created. We will use the command line to perform all these demonstrations.
- Once this is complete, we will write simple Python code to create a Producer and Consumer and will again push messages to the topic, which, in turn, will be read by the Consumer.
The following document lists all the steps that you need to follow to create this instance.
