Module Introduction

Welcome to the module on ‘Data Processing with Apache Flink’.
In the following video, Our industry expert will give you an overview of the module.

Guidelines for this module

This module is combination of theoretical and practical concepts. So, it is recommended for you to actively attempt the various in-segment questions throughout the module, and practise coding problems on your CDH EC2 instance. This module also involves programming in Java; hence, it is advised that you revise some basic concepts of Java before beginning with the programming sessions. You must read the platform text before attempting the in-segment questions. The lecture videos of this module are presentation-based. The presentation used in each session is also provided in the ‘Session Summary’ segment.

Guidelines for in-segment and graded questions

There will be a separate session for graded questions. The other sessions will contain questions that will not be graded. Each graded question in this module will have 10 marks for a correct response and zero for an incorrect response. Each graded question will have only one attempt, while the non-graded question may have one or two attempts depending on the type of question and the number of options.
