As discussed in the previous segment, EMR is a costly service and will keep incurring cost as long as the cluster is in a running state. There, to avoid overspending of budget, it is extremely
that you terminate your EMR instance after you are done for the day. You can always back up any important code files and datasets that you might want using the file transfer methods learnt in the previous segments.
