In this session, you learnt about what cloud computing is and the applications that use cloud computing. You understood the benefits of cloud computing, such as. cost-saving, scalability, availability, security, etc.
You learnt about cloud architecture and its different components. You also learnt about the three main types of cloud deployment models: private, public and hybrid.
Finally, you learnt about cloud services and the benefits that they offer to users and organisations. The three cloud service models are Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS).
